Ever since I can remember, I have always had a love of photography.
I credit my "eye for photography" to my mom who took the time to teach me to appreciate the simple beauties of God's creations. Also to my grandmother Marie who didn't just write poetry about God's creations but in her words she gave them life and personality.
I started off taking pictures of nature, sunsets, flowers, animals and of course my children. After winning first place several times in photo contests I decided to take my photography one step further and began doing portrait work.
Children are always fun, but I think that I find more enjoyment in taking pictures of adults who claim to "never take a good picture" and be able to capture a picture that helps them walk away feeling good about themselves. YOU CAN FIND BEAUTY IN ANYONE!
Weddings of course are on the top of my "favorites" list. To be able to share a couple's special day and be able to give them quality photos that will last a lifetime is an amazing feeling!
I feel that pictures are so much more than just images on pieces of paper. They hold our greatest memories of special times and people who are dear to us and can be passed down from generation to generation along with the loving memories that tell "our story".

Chris comes to Smiles by Stiles with training in both print and digital imaging. He strives to bring out the beauty hidden in everyday scenes and objects. Chris takes the time to capture the essence and personality that each of his subjects possesses and believes that after all, you are sharing some of yourself when you press the shutter. He tries to convey a strong sense of emotion in each and every one of his photos. Chris’s style is a mix of photojournalism, modern, and classic photography. Audrey has always had a love of photography. She has been working in photography for 8 years and has loved being a part in so many people's special memories. She says the best joy in this world is the joy of capturing a baby's first smile, or special expression, a husband and wife's first kiss, or a unique event.
